Hi guys,

I just checked my email and Disney had sent me a new survey. Did anyone other than me get this? The survey had me rate on a scale of 1-10 how I felt about different character dining experiences...they were...

Heroes (featuring Buzz, Woody, Sarge, Mr. Incedible, Frozone, etc)
Disney Princesses (Cindy, Belle, Ariel, Sleeping Beauty, etc)
Classic Disney characters (Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Goofy, etc)
Pirates of the Caribbean (Caption Jack and the pirate crew)

I responded a 10 on each one. Then the survery asked how interested I would be in attending this...

"Board a pirate vessel from a resort and sail to Pirate's Cove, where Caption
Jack Sparrow and his band of bandits has cooked up a beach barbeque. Salty songs, tall tales, delicious food and a hunt for the fabulous Tortuga Treasure spice up this fun-filled evening under the stars. Guests are given a clue filled treasure map and friendly competion is held to find the priceless prize."

I rated that one a 10 too.
They asked how I felt about a price of $49.99 per child (3-9) and adults $79.99. I responded that the price was a little steep, but I LOVE the idea. I also explained how this character meal would be a great thing for kids of all ages. And that the Caption Jack's girl fans would be standing in line. :cheer2: pirate: :cheer2:

I am soooo excited about this guys. I am a Mom of 2 boys and we go to Disney once or more a year. My oldest son is 6 and is getting to the age where he just doesn't like to dine as much with Pooh and Mickey. I had to beg him to let me dine with the Princesses for our upcoming trip.

I think this would be great!!!!!! And I think Disney is really listening to us!!
So...what do you think?

Oh no...I just realized someone already posted about this. I am so sorry guys! Glad that others got it too!! Hope we get a meal for our boys!

Hi!

I received a similar survey but a different pirate dining experience!

"Captain Jack Sparrow and a band of colorful cutthroats invite you to a fabulous pirate feast at The Salty Dawg Tavern. The occasion is the crowning of The King of the Pirates, and Captain Jack and his arch-rival Guy de 'Mer recruit their Guests into a wild and wacky competition. With the honor of The Pirate’s Code at stake, Captain Jack prevails in an evening filled with song, dance, fabulous food, merry mayhem, and a few salty surprises."

Children I believe were 16.99 and adults high 20's (I think 26.99)

I responded 10 and I loved the idea of a show rather than a meet/photo op/autograph experience!

They're definitely floating a few trial balloons.

I wouldn't put much stock in any of these. As you can well imagine, they're surely not going to do both of these pirate meals. I wouldn't really count on them doing either. From time to time Disney puts out a lot of ideas in survey form, most of which never come to fruition. Chances are there will be a couple of new meal experiences added over the next few years, but which of these ideas will be the ones chosen -- who knows?

Nope, you are the only person on the planet that Disney asks for opinions :thumbsup2

Now, now. Sarcasm doesn't translate well to the web! :rotfl:

uromac~ I also like the one they sent you a lot better.
cass~ I am well aware that Disney sends out surveys, thank you very much...just wondering if anyone got the same one that I did. Sounds like someone needs a hug today. ;)
