My 3 kids are interested in going on the priate cruise, but the youngest will be three weeks away from his fourth birthday when we are there in August. Is there any chance that they will allow an almost four year old (fully potty trained) to go on the cruise with his brother (7) and sister (10)?

I tried, my youngest will be two months away from her 4th birthday and my two older kids are 7 & 10 too. But, it didn't work, I was told no way, she MUST be 4. Next time I guess...

My youngest will be 4 days away on our next trip, and I wanted him to get to go on the Pirate Cruise with DS5. I'm thinking about moving the trip back a few days so he can, is it worth it?

I booked my kids on it last year. I don't remember them asking for birthdates. If they specifically ask, maybe you could say it's his/her 4th birthday present? ;)

It's really wonderful, and my kids had a riot.

I'd say more, but I must now go don my flame-retardant gear! :firefight

Thanks ktpool :) I will call today and try to book a cruise for him. DS will love it. pirate: pirate: And I always wanted to check out the GF... Maybe DH and I will baby swap and go get a massage. :woohoo: now Im thinking :scratchin

We've done it twice. Once from the GF and once from the Y&BC. The first time my daughter was four and my son was five. They had a good time, but it did take a whole morning of the vacation. They were more impressed with the water park and had they realized they were giving up trips on Goofy's Barnstormer, I don't think they'd have traded.

Two years later we did it again - six and seven - because I figured this would be the last time they'd go and enjoy it. Mistake. My son was bored and thought the whole thing rather babyish. I think he'd have been fine if it wouldn't have been his second trip.

I think this is worth doing once, provided you are a regular Disney guest that can afford to give up the morning, or your trip is so long you can give up the morning, AND your pirate is seven or younger (there were almost no eight and up pirates on either ship) or tolerates activities where they are the oldest, AND you can afford it (its pricey). If this is your only trip with kids and you only have five days, I wouldn't give up a morning for it.

I just called and booked the Albatross Cruise at the BC/YC. pirate: :sail:
My DS 6 is going to love it!!! He is helping me plan this trip, but I think I will keep this as a surprise . :goodvibes
