I just made ressies for my 2 DDs (5 & 8) for the Pirate's Cruise for our last day of our Dec. trip. My girls are girlie, but they like to be adventurous as well. I'd love to hear of others' experiences with this, and whether or not you think this is worth the extra money to do. My other idea for the last day was to get PS for breakfast at 1900 Park Fare. (??)
Thanks for your input!:)

My neice did the PC when she was either 9 or 10 (can't remember, she goes almost every year) and she loved it. :) I think they do some sort of a treasure hunt.

I've never been to 1900 PF with her; and not sure if she's been, but I have been there years ago and recall it being one of the nicest character meals there. I'm going with just me and my BF when we go in DEC. ;)

Have a great time!!

It sounds like fun! It will also give my DH & me some time to hang out-just the 2 of us.

We're going to 1900 Park Faire for the princess dinner our first night.

My two girls went a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. They quickly paired off each with another child about their age and really enjoyed the whole treasure hunt. I know my kids are crazy about all the little toys/treats that they get, almost like a b-day party gooodie bag. The experience was well worth the money, IMOH.

For someone who likes to experience this type of thing as a family the magical tour(not sure of name) through the MK with the scavenger hunt was great. My girls still talk about it, with the little one mentioning that we had to do it again this time. We will not be there long enough, but we may try it again on another trip. It was that fun.

Our 2 boys (4 & 6) did the pirate cruise last week and loved it. They are still talking about it and love the goody bags they got at the end. I think it was totally worth the $$$. I was expecting it to be mostly boys on the cruise, but there were lots of both boys and girls, which was really nice. Plus there was a nice age range. It wasn't all little kids or all older kids, a good mix. If you have any other questions, I'd be glad to help.

I don't think 3 is to young for the scavenger hunt as long as the three year old can do the walking. It would be hard to particpate in a stroller. Our entire group had a great time and I believe there were some kids about 3. Does he/she have any school experience? If so then no problem.

HI! DD(7) and DN(6) did this in July on DN's birthday. They are girly girls but crazy:crazy: and up for anything:teeth: (both have been to WDW many times and we almost always have stayed at GF but never done the PC until this trip!)
Here's what DD says:
Well, I thought the Pirate Cruise was...well, it's not really just for boys. I loved it, 'cause we got to see treasure and we got goody bags and it was really cool. There were lots of girls on our cruise and they looked pretty girly. So don't worry!"
