Pirate and Princess party for honeymooners?

Hi all

I was hoping I could get some help. I have heard great things about the Pirate and Princess parties at WDW, but I was wondering if my FI and I would enjoy it without children. We're both in our mid twenties and are going for our disneymoon in May. I was hoping maybe some of you would know, or have been with only adults. I have looked around but couldn't find out if adults enjoy it or if it's worth it. Thanks so much!

We attended one in Jan. with our 2DDs. It was pretty cool. There were alot of adults there by themselves and dressed up!( I think that was my biggest surprise and I don't mean just wearing hats. There were alot of people in full pirate/princess gear-) They provide everyone with a treasure map, you go throughout the park to collect your treasures (where X marks the spot...) treasure we rec were mardi gras beads but crowds where lighter some different activities to participate in(games and audience participation shows), pics by cindy coach, pic with capt jack etc. with special fireworks /parade. also alot of walk on rides..... we all had fun!!! If it was just my Dh and I probably not.... make the most of extra magic hours and use the $ for a special treat. Oh it was nice and we had a good time but it was more because of the DDs....

My husband & I attended this on 2/9 on our honeymoon. We loved it! The rides had no lines. We did a couple of the treasure lines if they had a small line just because even though the treasure was just beads or gems. The parade was nice. And Shaun & I actually enjoyed those fireworks better than Wishes.

DF and I are going to the Pirate and Princess Party on Tuesday, and we went last year as well. It's lots of fun, and the fireworks are definitely better than Wishes!

Df and I went in January without kids! We had a great time- we got our treasure map, had fun getting the silly treasure. We watched the kids dancing at the Dj parties. The rides had absolutely no lines and the parade and fireworks were great! I say do it!

I just purchased our tickets today for 5/26. My DH and I will be down for our PS for our DFTVR and we are going sans children. He knows about the party, but he thinks it's when we go for our VR. The whole May trip is a suprise for him. It's our actual anniversary and our first trip to the World without the kiddos. (They are going to be furious when they find out! )

I agree with previous posters who said they take advantage of short ride lines. When DD and I went to MNSSHP, we did just that. It was great! It's fun to have your own "private" invite to Mickey's Place for a party.

GO!!!! I can't wait to go,we are going May 9th!!! I have never been but I hear great things about it. They say the fireworks are like the best and the parade is really cool and if you love Jack Sparrow you have the chance to meet him and get your picture with him!!!

What is the difference between "Disney's Pirate and Princess Party" and "Mickey's Pirate & Princess Party". Both are listed when ordering tickets, are they the same or different?! Im so lost now lol. The fireworks are really awesome! The ride lines are short so for me that makes it worth it

I think I just read that they were changing the name to MIckey's pirate and princess party!!
