pins on airplanes

I'm wondering if I can take my Disney pins in my carry-on. In the slight chance my luggage gets lost, I don't want my pins to get lost too. I can't remember where I packed them to come home last year. Does anyone know if they can go in my carry-on?

Yes, you can bring them on with you. DS12 just did this in April without any problem at all.

We also brought them in our carry on with no problems.

I have flown multiple times with my pin bags and lanyard in my carryon bag without any problems. Sometimes when going through the security check point my pin bags got looked at and other times they were not looked at.
