Pinholder is hospitalized or dead:so what happens to ressies for everyone else?

I'm just curious about this one. Lets face it; things can happen like this scenario. The person who received the recent pincode is 90 years old.

Ok, you use a pincode and now that pincoded person can't come and it's for a good reason. Are the reservations null and void if that person is not there for the trip? Do you end up paying full price? What happens?

Has this happened to anyone for real?

Pin codes only matter when booking. Once your trip is booked and you pay for it, no one cares what pin code or discount you use. I went in October and used a pin code that was sent via email to my sister (who lives in my house). She has a different last name and was never even on my reservation. We paid for our trip over a few months and never once had an issue or questions raised. As long as the address attached to the pin code is the address you expect your travel documents, you have no reason to worry.
