What pins are considered "acceptable" or trade-worthy at the parks? I have seen the following stamped on the back of pins in ebay auctions: "Pin Trading" ; "Disney Auctions" ; "Disney; Made in China" ; and "Tokyo Disneyland". I have also seen people mention in ebay auctions warnings about pins from (or made by) Spain/Sedesema.

Anyone know what pins are acceptable for trading in the parks???

Check out disney's official pin trading site. The rules are posted there.

We trade pins all the time. Basically we make sure the pin is metal and has the Disney copyright on it. Cast members have the rules printed on the back of the tag on their lanyards, so if there are any questions they have a quick reference guide. Many of the Sedesma pins are not tradable. Plastic or rubber pins are not tradable. There are several good non-official websites as well, with great pin trading information.

WDW has special pin trading on Wednesday afternoons at Port Orleans French Quarters from 2pm -6pm in the room immediately to the left as you enter the lobby, Thursday at All-star Sports food court from 7pm-10pm, and Friday night from 7pm-10pm at the Contemporary 4th floor pin station. There is a special pin trading board just for kids at each of these.

Have fun trading!
