Pin Trading in places other than the Parks??

We are going to WDW for the first time the end of the month. I am prepared with pins and lanyards for the kids (and DH, and myself) I know you can trade in the parks with cast members, but can you anywhere else? The first night we arrive we are going to Hoop De Doo, should the kids bring their lanyards? What about when we go to some of the resorts restaurants like Boma and Ohana? Thanks for the info...........

we bring our lanyards EVERYWHERE when we are down in WDW. You never know when there will be a CM with a lanyard. We often find some of the best pins at restaurants!

Some of the best places to find unusual (or at least, different) pins are at the resorts or other areas at WDW.

The less interaction a CM has with the public, the more unusual their pins may be.
