Pin Trading Events?

We just started pin trading in November. SOOOOOOoooo much fun!
I have read a bit on trading etiquette, but how do I find out when these pin trading events are held and where can I get a catalog or book on what pins are out there? Is there a special thread on that already? My thanks to all who are "in the Know!".

You will find more information about pins on the collector's board than here. There are a couple of sites: www.dizpins.com and www.pinpics.com that come to mind, but the collectors know *lots* more about this than I do.

As for "events" there is a pin event ($150 per person I think) in February.

There are also official pin trading nights (free) once or twice a month ... www.dizpins.com keeps an updated list of pin trade night dates.
