Pin trading boards at the resorts - what time?

Does anyone know which resorts have pin trading boards? And what time do they bring out them out?

A friend answered my question!

"Here are the places and times in which we found for trading in WDW which can hopefully help you on your trip:

Saratoga Springs - Has a really big board but not specific times, so you can go to the community hall by the pool and ask to see the board and they will let you trade up to 3 pins per person from it.

Port Orleans French Quarter and Riverside - Each of these hotel's gift shop has a pin board that you can ask to see and in both hotel's lobbys at 5pm there bring out a different board in which you can trade two pins per person from.

Yacht Club Resort - This resort has a board in which they bring out at 5pm in their gift shop. This was one of our favorite spots to come for their event.

Boardwalk - At a pin cart that opens at 4pm there is a pin book that you can trade 2 pins with and it is located just as you come off the boat dock.

Epcot - MouseGears shop has an event at about 1pm and 5pm in which they bring out a pin board.

World of Disney at Downtown Disney - At a table in the pin room of the World of Disney Store there is an event at 2:30 and 6:30 p.m. in which they bring out a book full of pins and you can pick two pin in the order of the trader who arrived first. I would recommend getting their a half hour to 45 minutes early (sometimes I even got their an hour early) in order to get a good spot. Also, the books while I was down there they said that all the hidden pins were hidden mickey pin in the book. Part of the fun too was just trading with all the traders while waiting in line for the cast member to arrive.

Scoop - This trip we met scoop and played "secret pin trader game" as well as got him to autograph a pin and recieved a continuing the traditions pin! It was so much fun and we got tons of great pictures with him and his dogs! This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip! He is most consistently found early in the mornings in Main Street USA on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Pin Trading Shop at Downtown Disney - Various times during the day the workers opened up a 3 fold board on the wall and you were able to trade 2 pins with it. I found quite a few pins i needed just from this board so that was very helpful.

Pin Trading Locations - And of course there is trading outside the pin trading shop at Epcot and Downtown Disney where I could be found many times during my trip.

Yes. The Grand Floridian has a pin trading board and did their pin trading in the morning. We just missed that one last time.

We just got back from pin trading at different resorts. The Contemporary resort has 2 pins boards - one in the Fantasia store (the store that is just out in the middle and the other store that sells snacks and stuff on the 4th flr) The pin boards are available to trade from any time of day you just have to know to ask to see them and they will pull them out from underneath the counters.

We asked about the pin board at the Saratoga gift shop and they told us it was only certain days we there on Wed and the next one was on Friday - don't know if they had the correct info or not, they didn't really seem informed and we didn't take the time to ask anyone else there.

We traded at the Grand Floridian - I believe the times were from 10:30 - 11am and 6-6:30 pm

I went looking for the pin board at Mousegears at 1pm sharp. Couldn't find it and finally found a manager who said it would be 20 more minutes before they could bring it down. I told him I had lunch reservations at 1:15 so he was nice enough to go get the pin board and allowed me to trade off it. I stopped by there another day and they had the pin board out at 1pm so traded again and this time was allowed 15 seconds to pick a pin. By the way the pin board is set up at the entrance that is just off the breezeway that's the pass through to get to Test Track and Mission Space (that way you don't have to go looking through the whole store for it like I did) LOL
