pin placement on maps?

I'm finally getting around to get my three map pins framed! (The Michael's way -- I'm using the 40% coupon that is in EVERY Sunday's paper. Each week I will buy a 8x10 collection wall mount frame.)
Wasn't there a post showing a link or where to place the various pins? Not that it has to be an exact science. Seems like the WONDERDUL Red D goes on the castle area for the DL map. Or I thought I could stick it on top of the red D in Disneyland at the bottom.

Don't know if you need in fo on the Neverland Map but here is the placement.

The compass is obviously in between the N,S,E, & W over on the right.

The Mermaid goes right under Hook's telescope at the entrance to Mermaid Lagoon.

Skull Rock goes right under the words "Skull Rock".

The TeePees are a little large. I put them so that the Indian is underneath the left TeePee and the "9" is under the right one.

Hook's Ship goes to the left of the Indian Camp at the croosing of the Long. & Lat. lines between the "10" & the "12".

The Crocodile is personal preference. I put him right above the "N" in Neverland.

NHMickey ~ They aren't exactly going to be fancy-schmancy. Just a gold tone wood frame/shadow box style.
But I am going to try to place them around DH's '01 WDW marathon mosiac poster of MM running. (Small pics of some marathoners creating a mosiac of Mickey running.) DH's pic is in there three times. But it may be the same pic in all three places.

Anyone know where I can see where the DL MK map set pins should be placed?
If I am not going to do anything with my George of the Jungle pins, I should have them framed. They originally were framed pins, but are obviously unframed now. (#'d LE's of 500)
Suggestions? Maybe find some pretty (not overly bright) jungle motif print. Use that and 1 - 2 mats. hhhmmm... Or just use the KISS method.
