Hi,
I'm brand new to these boards, but no stranger to Disney.
I see posts talking about pin offers, could someone please explain what this is.
Thanks

Hi there: It is generated by the Disney marketing team and gives the recipient a discount off a future stay and/or another perk. The code/pin offers come in an email or via a postcard.

I have read of several people calling the Disney number to see if they had a code attached to their name and it seems like several of them did.

I was so darn sure I would get lucky and have one that I called and spoke to a Disney vacation planner just a few minutes ago. But no luck. But who knows if you have a future trip planned maybe if you call you will get lucky and find out you have one!

There are also codes/pins for Disney Visa cardholders, Annual Pass holders and FL residents. You can find these offers on Mousesavers.com. and at times some are on the WDW website as well.

I can't find anyplace to apply a code when trying to book online at Disney's site.
I was confused with the pin thing, but now what is a Bounce Back?
Thanks again.

I don't book on line can't help with that. As far as a bounce back - that's an offer for a discounted room or free dining that you book for a future stay at WDW WHILE you are there. There will be a card/notice in the room as well as it being mentioned on the TV station that talks about WDW and explains the area. THe codes are usually 3 letter codes to tell the CM when bookings. Like I have already said they are on Mousesavers.com as well as WDW site itself. I have seen codes in our local newspaper for the current free dining offer and I 'm no where near FL. You have to look. Have to visited the mousesavers site yet or the WDW one? I would do that.

I called reservations yesterday and asked if there was a pin attached to my name and much to my surprise there was!
I was told it was good until 8/02/08.
The rate for a room at the WL was $189 a night and a cabin at FW was $169! Fabulous rate for the cabin.
The rep told me he couldn't guarantee the pin would still be there after 8/02.
So, I called later in the day to book a cabin for the end of July and there was nothing available at the campgrounds.
I could get a club level room at WL for $299, but I need the space for the grandkids.
I'm hoping I'll be able to use the pin for October.
