Pin Lanyard help

I'm looking at buying some lanyards (starter sets w/ pins). I've seen them on Peggy's site and I can't see the bottom of the lanyard. There is a loop but is there anything hanging off the lanyard that comes w/ the starter sets?

I also saw lanyard "medals" whick looking like decor medals that you hang from the plain lanyards...is that right?

The sets I saw had a plastic clip with a cardboard medal. It looked like a medal from a distance, but wasn't. The medals were sold separately.

Of course there's always something "extra" to buy! I guess you get a better custom lanyard though.
