PIN Code vs. AP Rate

Good Morning fellow DisBoarders!!
I received a PIN code postcard for the $59 for the Value Resorts and thought I'd call and try to apply it on my POR reservation. I have an AP rate of $94 right now, which is pretty darn good and I'm not complaining. When I called the rep said that the AP rate was better then the PIN code rate. I thought the AP rate for values was $74, so by that comparison, wouldn't the mod rate be $79 with the PIN?

Did I figure this incorrectly or was the rep incorrect? Should I call back?

We also recieved a 59.00 post card. Well actually it came in my fathers name but we own the house now and I use his email. (I don't know if we can use it?) Anyway I am also wondering about rates besides on a value? We have a package at Boardwalk booked and have the summer discount but will this rate be bette?? My dreams agent is on vacation!! What a time to posssibly have a postcard pin!! Is the post card a better rate and can it be used on a package???
