PIN code and now add dining?

I booked three rooms in May using a pin code (room only) but am now considering adding dining. I guess that would change all three rooms to packages right? Does that mean I would have to totally rebook and would I stand the chance of losing my pin code? I'm worried that something weird could happen like they cancel my pin code room and then when they go to rebook with dining/pkgs that the rooms won't be available with a pin. Can this happen or how do I stop it from happening?

Oh, I want to book one more room if I can. I know I can only use one code for 3 rooms but I have another code as well. Think I could book a room under that code for travel at the same time as the other 3 (adding another family member hopefully)? Would the new room have to be in my name?

Hope this makes sense!! :confused3
Regardless the whole family is excited about our trip. :wizard:

I'm pretty sure you can add anything to what you have booked already but of course the discount would still only apply to your room price. Disney CMs are very helpful so just call and ask!

I just did the same thing (switch a room only reservation to a package.) They have to verify that there is space available using your pin. Then they rebook you before canceling your existing reservation. They refund your original deposit, then recharge you $200.

Why would they charge me $200?

Hmm, if there is not 3 rooms under the pin code can they cancel and quickly rebook or is that risky? Boy, if I lost the discount the family would sure be disappointed because I couldn't afford everyone in a deluxe then!! :headache::scared1:

I want to just call and ask but every time I call it takes a while...first the hold and then just the time involved with looking up 3 reservations, running the numbers, etc. I guess the best way is too just call though and make sure I open with "don't cancel my reservation but....":rotfl:

DO NOT cancel the rooms you are holding, check with Disney first to book the packages with dining, then cancel the old reservations.

Your current rooms carry a one night deposit. That would be refunded. The package reservations are a flat $200 deposit per room. Seems due to product issues they can't apply your room deposits to packages so they just refund them.

If for some reason there are no rooms left for the package, ask the CM to call Guest Services to see if they can convert to a package with what you are holding. GS can often do what the regular res CM's cannot, BUT they can't allot rooms into a promotion if the max has been reached or there are blackout dates. In other words, they can't alter the parameters of the promotion, but they can usually work around what you've got to make it work for you. Your call make take a while, but you may be pleasantly suprised.
