PIN code and Free Dining ?

If I book a trip using the 20% PIN code discount and the Free Dining discount is offered for late August - early September - will I be able to have both discounts applied or will booking with the 20% off exclude me from any future discounts?

Free dining means you pay rack rate for the room and is often not a better deal than any room discounts. Work out what you are saving in room costs and how much the dining plan would cost for your family to determine which discount would work better for you.

Booking free dining means you lose the 20%..

You can have one discount or the other.

Last year the Free Dining offer explicitly required you pay the 'rack rate' for the room to avoid any confusion on this point.

For a travel party of two or more.. free dining is almost always a better deal than 20% off in almost every situation except for deluxe resorts.. where it can come close.

20% off a 500$ a night room = 100$ discount / per night

Two adults and two kids under nine free dining is roughly 92$ a night in savings.

If you're staying at a value, there is almost no discount (even 50% off) than can save you as much as free dining for two adults. There is a rumor this year that Free Dining won't be offered for value resorts. Only moderates or higher. This is NOT confirmed.

thanks guys....I think I'll wait and see if a 40% code is offered......for a family of 4 I think the free dining is the way to go....we'd be staying at a value resort anyways given we spend little time in our room....don't think 20% is worth our while given that

I know.....but my wife refuses to go back again in August - September as she found it too hot - me on the other hand loved the 95F weather - more reason to visit the water parks
