Pillow Case Signing - Pen Suggestions

Hi -
First I must say that I can't believe I have been on the Dis boards for months overlooked such a great forum! I hope to get a ton of ideas on here to get my creative juices following as I am creatively challegned!

Can anyone recommend what pens I should leave with my kids pillowcases on the cruise so that they can be autographed.

I left thin colored sharpies.

We have always been happy with the Marvy Fabric Markers. We have also happily used the sharpies, they are definitely cost effective!

Another vote for the Sharpie's....I got them in a bunch of colors & they worked great!

take a piece of cardboard or ? to put inside the pillowcase, so the ink won't bleed thru the other side have a FUN cruise It's awesome!

No!!! You use an embroidery ring and move it around as each character signs!!! I did this last may and got MANY thumbs up from the characters ... they were grateful that I made it so easy for them!! Another vote for sharpies!!

enjoy your cruise!!! i just left the pillowcase at Guest Services with a pack of fabric markers -- so far they've washed great. I did the first wash in vinegar to help set the colors. I must be in the minority that was disappointed with Sharpie, they faded over time quite a bit, not black but the red for sure.

I sent two regular and one body pillowcase. my only complaint was the signed the body one as a regular, i imaged they folded it up and had them lined up on a table maybe? so the entire body pillowcase isn't signed, just a large 'block' if you will

Another vote for the Sharpies and the ring! We did a couple of shirts last summer and DD got tons of characters on her t shirts.

I would use the fabric markers, I have had great success with them. DS's used sharpies for a T-shirt at the end of school one year, and the names have all gotten blurred. Maybe it was the T-shirt material, and they would work better on something else, but that experience has made me leary.
