Do you think having the lotto for wristbands to buy limited pins could be test for a future way of doing things?
I have wanted to buy LE pins in the past, but the prospect of being at DL before 5 a.m. to get a wristband turned me off. I love the lotto idea of giving out wristbands! Disney will get way more business from me if they move in this direction.

I did the Piece of History WDW Series II SET....That was tough!! But, I think its a great idea, to give a piece of the park like that!

I would love it if they started doing more lottos. I've wanted to get some LEs, but lining up early with three 4 year olds is out-of-the-question.

Actually, the lotto system goes back to the early 90's when Disney held the Official Disneyana Conventions. There were limited editions and if your number was selected, you had the privilege of buying one. That included pins on occasion.

By doing this system, it allowed for possible over booking of the conventioneers and also created artificial rarity.
