Pictures?

How do you insert pics into your message? I am trying to post a few of our vacation in the trip reports but it won't let me copy and paste... any suggestions?

You need to upload the pictures to a website. Some ISPs provide you with a certain amount of web space, others just use free sites like imagestation? Don't know about the free sites since my ISP gives me space.

Once the picture is on a website, just use the IMG button and copy the URL in the box to insert it into a post.

The pics you see here are hotlinked from pictures that have been uploaded to a website that allows hotlinking. You cannot just copy & paste pictures on the internet.

If you go to that FAQ thread linked above (BTW, lots of great tips there), do not try to use the DIS Photo Gallery indicated in the How do I post a photograph link, it has been busted for months and that thread still refers to it to use. Check on the Tech board for several other threads with suggestions for alternate picture hosting sites. And if you get stuck, just post there for help.
