does anyone else hate the way you look in pictures? i love taking pics of everyone else but hate my own pics, but i found one that i actually didnt mind..dh took it at epcot during the holidays around the world...feel free to share your own photos that you like of yourselves...

I'm not a big fan of my non-photogenic abilities, but I hate my voice even more. Have you ever listened to yourself on your own answering machine? Ack! I don't know what's worse, seeing my photo or listening to myself on videos or answering machines!

That is my favorite picture of myself. I took it with a digital camera.

ETA. the lighting is natural. Its coming from the bathroom lights. I've got my arm rested on a shelf and I'm holding the cam at half arm's lenght, slightly zoomed.

As for myself, I am all ways surprised as to how heavy I am when I look at pictures. I guess in my mind I still think I'm a slim 20 something. Thank God I don't dress that way!!

Not a fan of seeing myself in pics, I am not photogenic. Unfortunately, seems like a lot of my friends are camera-happy, so I loathe the dreaded photo moments.

I like this one of me okay, it's me with DH at his company's holiday party. Except I think I look kinda heavy in it, but I like how my face and hair look.

Most of my pictures come out about average...but boy do I have some doozies!

I am like you...I don't particularly like how I look in pics.

Actually, I'm lying. I like how I looked in pics almost 3 yrs ago before I had 2 kids!!! I was hot. Now, not so much!!

I would love to figure out how to post a pic of myself, but I'm such a freakin idiot...

When my granny died, I was shocked at how FEW pictures there were of her. Up until that point, I would do anything possible to avoid having my picture took. I just didn't think I looked good and felt uncomfortable. Now, heck, get out the camera LOL! When I pass on (which I hope will be a LONG LONG time from now) I don't want any future grandkids to be sad because they don't have plenty of pictures of me!

I have been trying to get in front of the camera more often but it's tough. I am very self conscious. I don't want to look back at all our photographs and not have any with me in them. My kids always look beautiful and I thinks it because they don't worry about what the picture will look like, they are just happy in the moment.

Yep, I hate them too. I had eye surgery as a toddler. When a flash is used, my one eye squints a little. I'm very sensative to lights. It is a fair trade-off though, I would have have had very bad eyesight and eventually gone blind if not for the surgery.
