He's cute, he knows it, and he frequently uses this to his advantage. But yet, we know better now than to be fooled by his wily ruse...for we know that he is really an alien...
Actually, he's a Jack Russell Terror. No that's not a typo. He's 14 months old. He's too smart for his own good. But on the other hand, he runs into things alot (trees, bookshelves, people, furniture). He defends us bravely by barking ferociously at inanimate objects, like oscilating fans, dishtowels and cd towers. He is supposed to be a hunting dog, yet he is afraid of birds, rabbits, cats, squirrels, rats, mice, and other small mammals. He loves huge mean looking dogs though...cause, ya know, he could take 'em. He actually really likes plants. I mean he LOVES plants. And lawn equipment. And mulch. And trucks. We are pretty sure in another life he was a landscaper or a botany professor. Or maybe he's just the one and only hippie vegan love all creatures Jack Russell.
Whatever. We love him.
Ironically, we recently learned he is terribly allergic to pollen. Monty Dog got pnuemonia really bad when he was 2.5 months old. He almost didn't make it. But he did. And we're sure glad.
