Wow! It took a long time to get through all 56 pages. But, it was worth it! I saved dozens of pics. Thanks a million to all who contributed. Where did the time go? From 1973 to 2015 (going in May)--with dozens of trips in between. I can't believe it!

Does anyone remember Donald's Safari Breakfast before it was at the Tusker House Restaurant. It was in the building that is now Restrauntasaurus. We went to Disney in 2000 and ate there and loved that breakfast. The food was served out of cast iron pots.

Beautiful! That's certainly how I like to remember it. Didn't they have the pretty white lights in the trees all year round? Anyone have a night pic of this area?

I "danced" with these characters in early November with my daughters and niece and nephew right in front of Space Mountain.

No picture readily available but I loved the first yea of the Food & Fun pass. Two sit down meals ; appetizer, soup or salad, entree and dessert plus unlimited use of boats and other fun.

I miss Spectromagic too. I can't believe it was left outside and destroyed by weather (that's what I read somewhere). Such a sad, sad shame. I loved Chernabog - he was absolutely breathtaking

It went back to Cali to replace the MSEP that is at the MK now. Every so often the parades are swapped back and forth. Most of the floats went. Some didn't because they were too big for the streets over there. Same thing with MSEP. What was left was probably re used for a different parade.

Guess Disney changed there minds. Usually they swap the parades from 1 park to the other. I know the current EP at the MK is missing a few floats from its original run, and the name changed also.

It was initially what everyone thought they would do, but turns out they retired the whole parade and dismantled the floats.. It's a shame.

I do remember something about Spectro now. IIRC, initially the MSEP at WDW now, was only supposed to be temporary. Like a summer or 2.
It is a shame. Theres a lot of things Disney is doing lately that takes a lot of the heritage and history out of the equation. I going to look in a minute, but I have pictures of one of the 20k subs in its new home on Castaway Cay. I have a few other pictures scattered around also from things in the parks. I know I have a hard copy picture of the Southern Seas ( I think that was her name. The old steam boat that ran with the ferries) in drydock when she was dismantled.
