Pictures of the view from MK view rooms in Conch Key or Boca Chica at the GF?

Denise, Hockeymom posted some pics from her Conch TPV room on the GF thread.

I think Conch and Sago have the best castle views but some people have warned that there are palm trees blocking the view in some Conch rooms.

Not quite a year ago we stayed in a GF concierge room that had this view:

I think it was called the Royal Palm or something like that. It was in the main building.

Thanks, all! Great pictures! HockeyMomR, could you see the CR from your room? DS would want to see the CR as well since that's his favorite resort. I noticed we would not be able to see it from Sago, so now I'm down to Conch or Boca Chica.

I can see a bit of the CR in one of the pics I posted, LOL Would that count? Look closely the the "looking to the right" pic its there with the construction cranes. But I'm sure not enough to please your son. There were rooms more to the left of us that may have a better view of the CR.

Thanks. The CR is his favorite, and we've had to cancel this trip twice. We should have arrived at MCO at 11:30am today and be headed to the MK right now. The CR is booked (Tower MK view), so I want to make sure he can see the CR well. I know it's just a request, but it can't hurt to ask!

Triplefigs - Here is one from our room of CR, I know the tree is totally in the way, but you could see it!

HockeyMom, did you have the Hammerhead room with 2 balconies? Did you like Conch Key (location, noise, etc)?

No, this was not a hammerhead room as you are hoping to get. This was a dormer room which made the room seem larger and there are now daybeds in the dormer rooms which is a big plus for our family. Our room was right in the center of the "end" of Conch Key. I thought the location was fine. The boat from the Magic Kingdom was just outside Conch Key and the walk to the main building was probably about 3 minutes? The only disadvantage to Conch would be the proximity to the Beach Pool. Sago would be closer to the main building, but I just loved our view!

I have heard of the dormer room but never hammerhead room? What types of rooms are these and which buildings are they located in? As for the dormer rooms do they have a normal balcony or one that is closed in? TIA

We stayed in Sago Cay room 5441 and had a pretty view...it wasnt a direct view of the castle, but we could see the left of the monorail, the castle, SM, and CR and some of the other GF buildings. the castle wasnt dead center...which is what I wanted, but I still loved the view and it was great. I finally got to watch Wishes from our balcony which I wouldnt do again cause the fireworks were to the left of the castle and it just looked odd to me and we coulnt hear the music. I would much rather be on Mainstreet for the fireworks anyway! But after 15 yrs of going to Disney and wanting to stay at the GF with a castle view....I still loved my view! I dont know how to do pics yet...new laptop and just got wireless today!! So, I cant help you with pics....but Sago does have really great views!

We have had Castle View rooms from Sago, Boca and Big Pine. Sago was of the castle and monorail. Boca was castle to contemporary with some big pine trees to deal with. Big Pine was castle, contemporary to Poly. If I got to assign our rooms for next trip I would pick Big Pine hands down for best view . The theme park rooms there are the rooms on the end, the long side of the building is lagoon view. I don't request any more though which leads me to not be disappointed if I don't get my request -- if I really was unhappy with my view I would ask to move.

No pics to share but we've had theme park views in both Big Pine Key and Sago Cay. Sago Cay's castle view was wonderful, also you could definitely see the monorail.
