See? I am missing all that sort of interpretation. I found the setting (the chapel) sterile and devoid of emotion, or even warmth when I was there for a wedding.
It was just a plain white building with uncomfortable wooden pews. Now, I'm sure that decorating it with the flowers, candles etc. helped but it simply had no character (and yep, Mickey made an appearance ).
Give me the beach, or the wide open meadow, or even someone's living room, over a sterile, boring building.
I love the wedding pavilion, it's got a special grand feeling to it. We choose to get married at the gazebo on the Boardwalk, though. I loved it and that it was by the water. There are many, many Disney locations to have a wedding!
