So, as you all may or may not know, last week I was in the LA area due to getting tickets to the D23 Walt Disney Studios tour. While there, I also visited Disneyland for a day, and to make it worthwhile to my dad, I also did a few college tours.
I changed my mind about doing a TR but I still want to share my pics with you! (Especially because the majority of you haven't been to DL and seen NOS)
Here goes:
Disneyland (8/13). I only took a handful of pictures here, mostly of New Orleans Square and the Haunted Mansion.
Pirates and the HM are both located in NOS.
My dad and I hopped over to Disney's California Adventure to watch the broadway-theatre style Aladdin show (which was amazing). I had to take a picture of the renovation being done on the Paradise Pier lagoon for the new water show, World of Color. DCA is currently under a billion dollar makeover, and I can see why- it sucked.
After Aladdin, we hopped back over to DL, and I treated my dad to dinner in the Blue Bayou restaurant. This restaurant is quite literally in the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, and we had a waterside table to watch the boats go by. Dinner for the two of us, plus dessert, plus tip and tax was $96.00
but it was TOTALLY worth it and I loved that I got to thank my dad for taking me.
We watched the Electrical parade, and caught the entire fireworks show while being moved by Guest Control.
