love, love, love these. they are really decorator accents and are in the flower section at m's (clearanced to 2$ a pack) they don't come in these colours, I dyed them with alcohol inks, they do come in blue/white, green/white, pink/purple and clear. maggie

Oh Maggie, they're so cute! I can think of quite a few places to use them too. Maybe I need to go to Mikes...haven't been there for eons! (DH is very happy that I haven't added to my scrap stash. LOL But now that he's finally brought my stuff out of storage & I'm putting it all back on the shelves, I'm feeling the need for a trip to M's. )

Tinkerbean sent me some so I can play Do you stick them roundy-side down or up? And how did you colour them with the inks? I love that you put them in the bottles - must copy that with mine so I remember where they are in the pile of stash

I stick them flat side down and to colour with the inks, I just tossed them into a ziplock bag and put a few drops of the ink into the bag and just kind of squished them around. You can also colour them with sharpie markers (just colour the bottoms, much easier and has the same effect of colouring the whole thing without getting your fingers all coloured ) just used them on my mexico swap items. they are very cute as prima flower centers. I put the glue dot on the flat side. Figured it would adhere to the page better with more surface covered in glue.

I used a Sharpie Marker - permant ink - to color the flat side of the skittle. I let it dry for about 15 minutes (put together mats while waiting) and just glue dotted them down. The ink left little rings on the drying paper, but nothing came off on my hands while using them.

Ahhh... that's what I need to do. I remembered seeing everyones when I was shopping and I stopped short of buying the colored ones because they were mixed. (I am so silly.) But that's totally what I'll do!
