Ok, neither of these pics are the best. I will add more later. The ride closed down just as we got there to ride it. Gr. But I will add more next time, when I can get inside the gate (I tried to talk my way in just to take pics, but didn't get anywhere).








Just looking at the pics though, I feel like I should be teleporting onto the steps and hanging out with friends. Reminds me of some fun times:

The seagull hats were worn by both HarborKat and Jacques. They will be thrilled that they are both celebrities here. By the way they both read here ocassionally too!! Ill have to give them a little note to come see.

LOL, yes they both quite liked the idea of their pic being posted. I told them I would have it up this week and they said they would "come by" for a look. But please invite them over...they might not be expecting it up yet.

Woot Kit! You posted the pic of Bezoar dressed up like us girls! I've been waiting for that to be "documented"! LOL!

And I LOVE seeing the real Haunted Mansion steps. Oh how I would love to climb up on them and dance in real life!

Hey all. That is me on the right in the Chicken Hat pic. Awesome shot! Turned out great.

Surprisingly, we did get a number of "Ooh! VMK hats!" that day. Harbor says he usually doesn't get that many.

Kit - Great pics thanks for posting. Glad you had such a good time. It's great seeing pictures of the different parks. Wouldn't it have been nice in VMK if they would show different version of the HM depending on what lobby room you picked, like south-west etc. Same thing for the castle forecourt, they could have the castles from all the different parks.

You'd be surprised at how many Cast Members were asking us if they were sold in the Park!

Oh I love the seagull "chicken" hats! If I were creative like that, I'd
want to make my own hat, too!

I can imagine walking outside VMK Central on Main Street where people
will ask me to trade my hat for furniture or magic.

When I was at Magic Kingdom in WDW I saw this and immediately thought of Stitch's Teleporters. I think it was some sort of futuristic phone booth, but I still thought of the Stitch Teleporters!

Ok, there's a story behind this photo. The kids and I had just finished getting our loot at the VMK kiosk and had started walking away. These two guys walked up. We were all looking at their hats. I mumbled something to the effect of, "I wonder if they'd let me take a picture." DD responds with, "Ask them!" So, at the risk of looking like a complete idiot I did! They actually took it in stride (and gave me permission to post here). Apparently a friend gave them these custom-made hats.

So here you go...the much sought after Seagull Hats (thanks guys!):

Oh my, we have them on the dis boards! woot! I must say it is a pleasure to see you posting and I have to ask you about those hats. At first I didn't bother to read that they were custom made and that would be the very first item I bought at DLR. But then kept reading and much to my disapoinment they aren't sold.

So......would you like to give us a little background on the hats? Did you make them and most importantly would you be able to make more? rofl Because I would most definitely pay to get a sweet hat like that. lol
