Hi!!!

Just wanted to share some pictures of the Disney artwork that we finally hung in our great room last weekend. I'm not really happy with the way that it looks for now. We are going back to WDW in September and plan to buy another painting and add that one to the wall. Hopefully it will fill in the space a lot more!!!! Eventually, the entire wall will be full!!!!!:goodvibes

Please tell me what you think!!! :thumbsup2

I like that the colors are dark. It makes it seem more formal. Not anything I'd do, but I think you've pulled it off!

It looks great! I agree though, that there need to be something in the missing space. If I were looking, I'd get a picture that was long ways (Landscape) to stick in the empty spot. That way on the top, there would be two Tall way pictures (Portrait) and one Landscape. And on the bottom there would be two Landscape and one Portrait. You've got some great paintings!

I think it looks great and I agree with the last post. I love love love the one over your fireplace! We were at the mall last week and walking past the art gallery was that picture in the window and I told my dh we have to get it!

I'm the proud owner of the one over your fireplace-LOVE IT! The others look good. You'll have to update when you get the new one!

No! no picture in the middle.

this definitely needs a relief piece. With a metal finish or full color. A wood or earth tone would accent the chimney well. and it must be grand in nature, but not so much in size as to overwhelm the wonderful artwork.

Is that a Thomas Kincaide above your fireplace? He has done some beautiful Disney-themed paintings.

We bought this one at the art store at Hollywood Studios. I know they have it at all 4 parks and Downtown Disney.

The art store is over by the Voyage of the Little Mermaid and Playhouse Disney shows. They have this certain picture in all of the art stores in the parks.

I can't remember the exact cost..somewhere between $2500-3000. This particular painting was so expensive because its what they call an Artist Proof. This means that there are only a few of these that were painted by the artist. All others are copies or prints. You can get many different sizes and frames also.

We had it shipped home. We do this with all of our artwork and larger purchases.

 holy moly! that is way way outta my budget! I was thinking like 200 bucks-ish! (thinking it was a print) obv I have no idea about the cost of art  but it is beautiful i'l have to take a look and admire anyways :goodvibes

Here are a few other pieces of art that we have collected over the past couple of years...

My husband doesn't like the colors of the sky in this one, but I had to get it because the kids in the picture remind me so much of my 3 kids. Its really a perfect match!!!!

Those are all awesome! The only thing I'd do until you found one to fill that empty space is move the one at the bottom up to kind of center it... just an idea :goodvibes

I'm not a pastel person, but I love the castle with tink and fireworks painting! I also love the train car painting!

My GF painted it for me. Not her usual but she said she had fun doing it.
