I just returned from 5 nights in a studio in this location. (Not HCA) The room was just like all the others, except there was no clock-radio, no picture on the wall, and no floor lamp. (I was told the room was "on a list" to get these items.) The room was in great condition. The dining table was new and had a different look--it was a cream color with blue trim. All other furnishings were the same.
There still is a
DVC sales office located at the BW. It's much smaller than it previously was. It looks like they have retained a 1-bedroom model. (My room was right by the model.)
My room connected to a 1-bedroom, but it looked like there was another studio at the end of the building (near Jellyrolls). From what I could tell, that was it, as far as the rooms go.
There is a very nice garden in front of these rooms, which is fenced off from the boardwalk--with no access to the boardwalk. It was noisy at times, but I expected that. I could see Illuminations from the patio, so that was a plus.
I did like this location, but I'll stick to the standard view in the future. This was my first BW view, and I didn't see what all the fuss was about.
