Yes, puppies!:faint: I don't know what we were thinking!:upsidedow

This is our boy Kato. He's very even tempered & loveable. I can never get him to sit still so I can get a face shot. I wonder when his ears will pop up. sometimes the right one pops up but then it falls again.

This is our Sasha. She is a little firecracker. We've had them since Monday. We bought Sasha & the next day DH had to go back and get her brother.

Thank you everyone that answered my questions a few weeks ago. They are being crate trained & I'm taking them out about every 2 hours. I tried to stretch it once to 2.5 hours but that resulted in an accident. They adjusted much better to their leashes today & now I'm taking them out on that. For the last few days I just let them run out in the fenced yard. Now I feel I have more control since they are more cooperative with their leashes.

They are adorable! I love shepherd puppies--particularly when one ear is up but the other one is still down. :lmao:

And, really, with puppies, I've found that it's just as easy to train two at the same time as it is to train one. Plus, they keep each other occupied.

Enjoy!

uh oh...you are in for trouble with a capital S. That stands for SIBLINGS!  We did a "what were we thinking" almost exactly like you did, except we just snatched up two lab puppies (sisters) at one time. There were three left, we picked out one, another family there picked out another..so we didn't want to leave the last one behind....well, you know what I am talking about. ;)

We hand no clue as to what we were doing, and the dogs just played with each other instead of listening to us. They were very sweet, untrained dogs. Learn from our mistake and separate them and train, train, train! You are going to have so much fun watching them play together. Good luck!

BTW, they ARE scrumptious!

:worship: Thank you for saying that. I wish she'd stop pooping more than her brother so I'll know when they need to go. I write everything down so I can see a pattern. Little Miss Sasha has to pee & then poop 10 minutes later. Her brother does his business & then is done.

So far we have them in separate crates, plus we spend time with each one separately each day, trying to train or go for a walk, etc. I have to keep thinking positive thoughts that I will do this & all will be ok.:faint:

I give them tons of praise & am reading the books Pea-N-Me suggested. It is like having an infant again, getting up every two hours at night. Oh well, I do that for myself, anyway!:lmao:

ooooohhhh - how cute!

Kato looks like my Bailey did over 11 years ago!

good luck

I'm going to have to request no more puppy pictures on the CB. I swear... I'm having like baby fever or something with boy my boys being older (18 & 14)!

:upsidedow

I'm with you on this suggestion! I do NOT need to be looking at any puppy pictures.

OP, those are two very cute animals, though. I just hope you have a powerful vacuum with two fur-machines in the house.

Thanks for the pictures! Got any more? I love German Shepherds!

OK, sorry to those that didn't want to see more.:upsidedow I'll be sure to post when these two little home wreckers are up to no good, then you'll lose those baby feelings.

Well, girls always take longer in the bathroom. ;)

They are both such cuties! :lovestruc

So cute. I love German Shepherds but we don't have room for one so we have a bichon and I love them too.

How cute. My shepard growing up (Dakota) had the one floppy ear one that stood up. Soo cute

OMG! They look like my 8 month old GS, Delgado who is 88 lbs so far! And I have another GS, Sasha as well, but she is white and tan.

COngradulations, they are precious.

Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww ya cuz that last pic will definitely not make anyone want a puppy. LOL They are adorable!! I remember when our Blue was that little, he's a Sheperd mix, best dog ever too! :) Enjoy!
