Pictures of my birthday/anniversary gift to DBF

My DBF and I went on a hot air balloon ride! This was a birthday/anniversary gift to my DBF (we've been dating for a year). It was a beautiful, unforgettable experience, and we took tons of pictures! This was a few weeks ago in Dayton, Ohio.
We took a private sunset balloon flight near downtown Dayton. Afterwards, the crew had a table set up for us at the launch site with a checkered tablecloth, candle, champagne, and hors d'oeuvres! I just wanted to share them with you. Hope you like them! (Oh, the last couple of pictures that show up are my DBF with the gift basket that I gave him for his birthday!)

Very neat! I've always wanted to do that, but I'm afraid of heights, so I don't see that happening!

Me too! My DBF loves thrills, he's been skydiving twice, and he wouldn't let me buy him a GC to go skydiving, so I decided to do this. I was fine all up until we actually got airborne, and OMG I was really, really scared! I started regretting it at once! But then, it was so calm, and peaceful, like floating on a feather. Once I got over the fact that we were 1000 feet in the air with nothing between us and the ground but a wicker basket, I was fine. LOL. Anyways, we were in the air for about an hour and I had time to get used to being up there. It wasn't so bad when we went over the residential areas, we went lower so we could wave at the people that you can see in the pictures.
It was a complete surprise to DBF, I only told him about 2 1/2 hours before we went. Seeing the expressions on his face made the experience all worth it!

That looks so cool, Beatriz. Not sure I could to it though, LOL. I got up to about page 10 or 11 and now it is 'The page cannot be displayed', probably too much activity right now. I want to finish later on. Beautiful views from up there, colorful balloon. They always are so pretty. And pretty house you flew over, BIG houses. Thanks so much for sharing, Beatriz.

I think just like KristiKelly, I am petrified of hieghts so that is the closest I wil get to a hot air ballon ride, thanks for letting me experience the view through you.
