Thanks for the updates. CBR is my favorite moderate and cant wait to see what the new main pool will be like. I personally think it let the resort down asit was too small, though nicely themed.

I can't wait to see the final result... the CBR is by far our favorite resort and having a new pool complex will make it that much more appealing!

I'm impressed with the slide they managed to put it, I was expecting something more "cheap" looking.

Glad to see Disney is taking the steps to update some of the resorts on property instead of just turning them all into DVC lol.

Also, Safteymom, in one of your pics there was a big wood patio type area, what is that?

That is part of the new decking that have been installing. It is up against the water and leads to the bridge.

I haven't heard what the new pool is going to be like.

FWIW - The bellmen who took us and our bags to our room when we checked in on Dec 16 (or was it the 17th - it was 2AM!!) said it was going to be pirate themed and have a walk-in entrance - this from a drawing he saw.

I like the new boardwalk - it will provide awesome views of the Illuminations fireworks.

I think the new boardwalk looks fantastic. We just love CBR, even though we're trying to "branch out" with other resorts, we always end up at CBR. I'm really looking forward to the finished pool.
