Pictures from our campsite at the fort

Great shots! Have a wonderful trip! DW gives a nod to the Cowboys banner

Hey there, I just wanted to tell you that I love your picture of the Christmas castle you posted on pic of the day. I don't think pictures do the castle justice though and wish everyone could see it in person, it's so beautiful. It looks to me like a dusting of snow across the castle (you know how a light snow shimmers when the sun shines on it?). Pictures of it make it looks like lights on a castle but the real thing is so much more.

If you're an early riser and want to see a similar effect; go over to the Meadows Trading Post at about 7:30, 8:00 or so and go to the back entrance (between the store and the bridge to the pool). There are some bushes there that have some new leaves growing that are a rosy red color. When the sun shines on the dew it has the same snow or sugar frosted look, very pretty. The green leaves didn't do this.

I just got home this morning... if I had known that was you on that site, I would have stopped by & intro'd myself! We were in the White & Black 4 Seater GEM Car that constantly stalked the 700 loop because the decorations were incredible on that loop! (Yours included!) I don't know if you realized it or not, but Samantha Brown from the Travel Channel was filming the decorations at FtW the week of 11/25 to 11/30. I think that was one of the reasons the folks on the sites near the exit of 700 went all out! I saw your cart quite a few times roaming around the Fort over the weekend. Sweeeeet ground effects!!!:thumbsup2

Thanks!!!! I've acutually allways had them on the cart. I'm looking at adding a couple of more batteries so I can put some more lights on. My one battery is not doing very well right now with all the christmas lights and the other stuff on the cart.

Great pics, thanks for sharing! Love the cart, great decorations! Can't wait to see the show on Travel Channel! Samantha Brown always does a great job hosting the shows she does! :thumbsup2

Tuesday December 11, but for the life of me I can't remember what time:headache:

I love your campsite pics!! Great decorations, very festive!!

Undercarriage light kits on ebay for about $65...usually $35s&h. I had some but neighborhood kids stole them from right in my driveway...thats why I live 30 miles north of New Orleans now. I saw your site BDDaddy...love the lightpost with the changing colors

So where DO you get those Mickey-head light spikes? I absolutely love those and they look like they could be used any time of year.

they are selling them EVERYWHERE at disney right now. I found some last week at the Settlement Trading Post and she said they go as fast as they put them out, so i got a set of 5 - $45. Turns out, they are EVERYWHERE that they sell Christmas stuff on property. I plan on using them in the summer at the fort!
