I am hoping to get my 2008 Family Christmas Card picture taken at WDW this July.

Do any of you have samples of Christmas Card pictures you took? Where's the best way to get a great family pic Mom, Dad and 2 boys 13 and 9

Thats a really great idea, I never thought of that one! We are going 12/9-12/16, so if we do it, we'll have to send them from Disney, which is even neater! Thanks for the idea! Only problem is, where do you go to get pics developed while on property? Any clues??? We would be using a digital camera.

Great Idea! Thanks I will have to borrow that for our trip.

I would use one of the Photopass photographers. They are usually found at the "most-photogenic" spots in each park and they usually take several shots of the same pose. You're bound to get one good picture. Wish I could show you a sample of mine - we went Nov.24-30. But I just got my photopass cd and I'm in hour #3 of transferring my 385 pictures over to shutterfly! My pictures look great!:thumbsup2

Here's my xmas card from 2 years ago:

We used this shot from Chef Mickey's a couple years ago. Never mind....can't find the picture on my hard drive! Anyway....use a photopass shot. :) Then, Costco has disney holiday photo cards....

we are planning to do the same thing with ours... we got one from family member that was on the beach, i was like well next year mines going to be of disney!! LOL

We did our picture from DESTIN this year and want to do one from WDW.
Can you find info about the photo pass on the WDW site?

If you want Cinderella's castle in the background then I would either stand at Walt & Mickey's statue or there is spot in front of Crystal Palace where you can get a good shot too.

.....we usuallu go the weekend AFTER Thanksgiving and bring our DD's Christmas dresses.

Since the resorts are usually decorated for Christmas, it's easy to find a place to take their pictures for the Christmas Cards.

So far, we've taken pictures at SSR, OKW and BW.

Just what we do................

We did it 2 years ago. We were there a few weeks before Christmas. Everytime we saw a characture, we all got in the picture and had the next person in line take one with our camera too. I took so many with the card in mind that we used up the camera card. Luckily Any Disney photo service will transfer it to a CD for you, so we saved them and made more room on the camera card. In the end I liked one of the family with Lilo and Stitch the best. I took it to Target and they made cards right there while I waited. I'd post the picture but the file is way too big.

This was our Xmas picture from our trip in Nov. We did have a few we took in front of the castle at night with the those beautiful lights they did this year, but there were too many people in the background so we used this one instead:
