Touring Yellowstone today...beautiful waterfalls, buffalo by car, bears and chipmunks and 20,000 STEPS!

Glacier NP today...

DGD and her Dad are home (driving from Yellowstone to Bellville, Tx in a little over 36 hours!) but DD is spending another few days in Glacier NP with one of her best friends!

Glacier NP is one of my two 'most favorite NPs' and definitely worth a longer visit!

Glacier NP is one of my two 'most favorite NPs' and definitely worth a longer visit!

They loved it! DGD was disappointed she didn't get to go back with DD but her Dad had to get back to Texas as their company's rep for a house closing and he was driving home with her. DD's best friend lives in eastern Idaho so she met her there and they explored it further. Quite a few parts still closed due to winter conditions but they sure enjoyed it. Absolutely beautiful!

Poor Stitch lost his sister Lilo tonight. The voice actor of Lilo has passed away at the age of 35.

Simple things make me happy! Celebrated my 75th birthday tonight with pancakes, French Toast, ham and my favorite strawberry pretzel dessert followed by the laughter of DGD trying to put one of my gifts back together! The mail brought me a "thoughtful card" from a high school classmate welcoming me to the "3-quarter CENTURY group"! The good thing about work obligations and traveling is that I get to have THREE birthday parties over the next few days when the rest of the family is available!
