Hello everyone on the CB!!!! Haven't been around much for a while. Had to take a much needed break after the big pin event last month. Anyway, I saw someone already has one of the new pinbags for sale. It is eBay auction #1188225390 .

Have these bags been released? I mean, are they for sale in TDS now? I thought they wouldn't be available til the pins were released on Sept. 22.....

I just called the 2 stores near me and they don't have them in yet. They did say that as far as they know it's only the pins that will not be sold till the 22nd.

I've seen posts that say people have found the bags and books in their local DS. Call yours to see if they are in. They aren't in at mine yet....

We have the bags in the King of Prussia store. I just saw one today. I have to be honest. I like the size of it but no pockets, no shoulder strap and it is not material but almost like a plastic.
It is a little smaller than the one disney world use to have.

Called our Disney store tonight at the Holyoke Mall and they do have the bags in but will not be selling them until Sept. 22nd when the pins go on sale too. Did forget to ask - what is the selling price at the stores? Anyone know? Thanks. They do look nice - but Shirley, you said they are not a material type bag - more plastic????????? Thanks. The bags will not be released until September 22. They will sell for $24. The binders will sell for $20 and most of the pins are $4 including pin number 1-One Man's Dream. Some stores did not know about the sale date and went ahead and sold the bags. The store at Woodfield Mall in Chicago apparantly sold out of the bags. While the material is more plastic like, I do like the Logo on the front, it is quite nice looking. Inside has six pockets for pins. There is no shoulder strap but I rarely use mine so for me it doesn't make a difference. We have two full bins of these bags but I believe they will sell quickly.

TDS I was in Thursday said they had the shipment. I was given the impression they would be on dispkay at the same time as the pins.
Just an FYI -- I bought some PJ's that were on sale half off, plus used my 10% DC discount. Whew hoo! You may want to check out your local Disney Store!

I called three stores in CT, they all said that early on the 22nd, the bags, books and pins go on sale when the stores open. I even called a smaller store which did not carry the first set of pins and I was told they'd have the new ones begining Sept 22! So that is good news for those who live near smaller stores.

The new pin bags are very pretty. I am not sure I will purchase one, I have to see its quality and materials. The absence of a shoulder strap does not bother me that much, I mainly keep my pins at home anyway. I got a smaller bag for my tradables a while ago. And besides, I decided not to keep buying extras and tradables, but to add to my permanent collection instead. The prices of the pins are going higher and you never know who needs what. I am still stuck with a few tradables that I have been trying to swap for something else.

I am, however, looking forward to trading with the DS CMs!!

Does anyone know if you will be limited to two pins of the first day of the sale or can you buy as many as you want?
