WOW! I had the best time with my sister. We flew down on Saturday morning, arrived SNA at 10 AM and were in the park by noon
. We took SuperShuttle and used an online coupon to get $6.00 off per person RT, bringing the cost to $14 each RT plus tip, which I also paid online. The shuttle was quick though our driver decided to play game show host and made us all answer U.S. trivia questions (he called on us individually by name). No one got anything right, but they were questions that were not meant to be answered correctly. It was kind of interesting at first but got a little annoying after a while.
We stayed at DLH for the ap rate of $149/night. When we arrived, our room wasn't ready and we weren't in the Dreams Tower, which I'd requested several times. The CM told us we couldn't get the Dreams tower because the hotel was booked. Oh well, right? We did get the Magic tower which is a close second. However, when we returned later to check in, our room was the size of a postage stamp. The bed looked tiny, but maybe because there was almost no room beyond the bed! It was a bit too cozy for our liking. We're close sisters, but not that close
This was a corner room and obviously a large chunk of it had been cut out and used for something else. We went down to ask at information if we could be moved. The CM (Lisa) told us she would see what she could do. She came back after a while and apologized, telling us there were no queen rooms but she had moved us to a king room for the night and we could move the next day to a queen room. We could also stay if we liked the king room. When we went to look, it was HUGE! A giant corner room in the Dreams tower overlooking DTD and the parks! We had corner windows and looked out at the Mickey Sorcerer's hat, too! It was awesome. It had a giant bath/dressing area, table and chairs, and a daybed.

Me:
We bought ourselves some new shirts. Appropriately, my sister's said 'Evil Queen':
I bought a new sweatshirt, too:
That night, we had reservations for dinner at BB. Sis brought her school mascot, Olivia Otter (she is a teacher/principal). We requested 2 kid menus so we could make ourselves into pirate chicks. Olivia stubbornly refused to wear one:
The dinner was great!! We had a waterside table and we each ordered the Surf and Turf (filet mignon and lobster). Yum, but too much food!!
The next morning we met Disneyluvr2, who lives in the same town I do and who also happened to be at the park. She took a picture of us clowning around with the Christmas decorations in DTD near the DLH:
