I am in the midst of deciding which counter service we should eat at on our Animal Kingdom day... Anyone have pics of yak & yeti counter service meals? I'd LOVE to see them!

I posted a thread about this very topic a few months ago haha :) I'm posting the pictures that were put up on the thread.

You can get the Yak Attack at the CS! And I highly recommend it!

I ate at Yak and Yeti CS on my last trip and really enjoyed it! It was really good CS food!

I've only got a couple of pictures, but we love the Yak and Yeti counter service.

Partner liked the Honey chicken. The more he ate of it the more he liked. I really liked the chicken sandwich. Slight Asian flavor but a still a light meal.

That all looks really yummy! I was considering doing Yak & Yeti CS for our trip in December and now I think it's a definite! :)

And after lunch or dinner, if you turn around, right behind the Yak and Yeti, you find the "Royal Anandapur Tea Company" that makes the best Frozen Cappuccinos...

Trust me on this... ;)

I don't have any pics, but this is one cs we always have to visit. The Honey Chicken really is yummy.

This makes me verrrrry happy. Finding iced coffee drinks in disney is difficult. Usually I get an expresso, getting the caffeine I need, and quickly having a hot drink on a HOT day lol

I don't know if this has been posted or not, but my DH and kids are at AK now and just stopped to eat lunch and this is their fave CS there and guess what....NO Egg rolls on the menu any longer! That is just crazy! We are very disappointed as we always ate the egg rolls and chicken fried rice. I hope they bring them back!

I was thinking my all time favorite snack from there was the Pork Roll....PLEASE>>>PLEASE tell me that the "egg roll" is something different and I won't have a problem getting a pork roll!!:confused3

Awesome! I was hoping for something different. We would have chosen Flame Tree BBQ. But we are eating at Whispering Canyon Cafe that evening.. and I suspect everyone will be eating the skillets.. so BBQ twice in one day would be to much. The honey chicken looks good. NEED egg rolls though!

I have totally got to be the only person that did not enjoy the Yak and Yeti. I was really excited to do counter service there back in 2008 and we were really disappointed. Has something changed there for the better since? I'd give it another shot if it has. I can;t even remember exactly what it was about our food we didn't like. There were 7 of us and a variety was chosen and no one was that taken by any of it.

I don't have pictures but we ate there last week and liked it. We all got the Sweet and Sour Chicken and it was good. The Shrimp Lo Mein was no longer on the menu, that's what I had planned on getting but it wasn't on the menu board.

We just ate lunch there last month. I have to say, I didn't really like this place either. For one, both mine and DH's dishes (the honey chicken and orange chicken, or maybe it was sweet and sour - not sure) were simply their plain chicken nuggets with the respective sauces drizzled over the top. Also, both dishes were very hot and with all the seating being outside also in the heat, they just weren't appealing. Lastly, the containers they give you aren't great for getting both chicken and rice in the same bite. I do have to say the fried rice pictures posted here look better to me...maybe that's what I should have gotten instead. Here are my pics regardless. The drinks are very large though and the chocolate cake for dessert was pretty good.

I have been ttrying to think of what it was that we didn't like about Y&Y and this the above bolded as my husband's complaint. Chicken nuggests... I think, I thought my fried rice was way to salty and I love fried rice. I can't remember what else it was we got now though.
