The 5K has had a different theme every year, so a different medal. They aren't the metal medals (lol), but very nice.

Here is Family Safari 5K from Jan 2008:

Inaugural Royal Family 5K from March 2009 Princess Weekend:

The medals for the 5K's are rubbery or plastic. But I LOVE them. They only started to give 5K Fun Run medals a few years ago, only the Kid's races during Marathon weekend in January used to get this type of medal.
