Does anyone have pics of the character greetings with Mickey at the Toontown Judge's Tent, or the random characters you can find at the Toontown Hall of Fame Tent?
I'm trying to see what the backgrounds look like. I think the meet & greet w/ Mickey has some pumpkins or something in the background.
Also, is the Hall of Fame Tent one character per picture, or is there any opportunities for more than one character in your shot?
One of the proposal ideas I'm throwing around is getting on my knee in front of some characters, but wanted to have one of the photo guys at WDW take a pic in addition to my camera, just in case mine comes out like crud. The best place to do this I figured would be in Toontown, since the meet & greets are so private.
I know you can never tell who will be at the Hall of Fame until you get there, but hopefully Pluto, Pooh, or some characters we actually know will be there and can all get in one pic. Maybe we can even steal Mickey from the Judge's Tent to pose with everyone else (but I doubt that).
Thanks for the help.

Unfortunately, the picture we had taken with Mickey in the Judge's Tent didn't turn out and we opted not to buy it. But, I think you are right about there being pumpkins and that in tha background.

If the Hall of Fame Tent is the building I think it is there were a total of nine different stations with three different lines for each set of three characters. When we were there in July they had Minnie, Chip, and Dale for photo options in one line. Another line had Cinderella, Aurora & Prince Phillip, and Suzy & Pella (Mice from Cinderella), the last line was for Pooh Bear and friends, Pooh, Tigger and Eyore. The characters do change from time to time I think; but don't know for certain. They only let so many people in at a time; but niece was able to get a picture with both Chip & Dale. The mice were together and so was Aurora and Phillip. There were no professional photographers in the one with Cinderella and group.

It would take me a while to hook up our scanner for the pictures we took. We didn't use the digital that day. Only problem being I am not sure how to go about trying to post a picture to the board.

Meeko_33785,

Thanks for sharing the site. I haven't seen this one yet. The pictures are great. I think they are better then the ones I took.

ham53,

The site should give you a really good idea of what the backgrounds are like!

Meeko: Thanks! That's exactly what I was looking for! :hyper: :teeth:

Soltwisch: I'm sorry to hear your pics didn't come out. If I propose like this (which is likely), I'm gonna have them use my digital camera as well, just as a backup.

I'll probably wirte a letter to Lee Cockerell, the VP of Operations for WDW, and see if a whole managerie of characters can be arranged. It never hurts to ask!
Thanks again!

Thanks. The few we took turned out okay; just not as fabulous as I hoped they would. It was the professional ones that didn't capture the right moment. Oh well, that's why we take our own, too.

Our dd turned two. Depending on the character one of us had to take the picture while the other held her close to the characters. We had three cameras with us. Guess that day was the luck of the draw what camera we used.

Oh well, that was July and we have a second chance in December. We will have more people to help with the pictures this time!
