Pics of It's a Small World- It's open and I got to ride

I didn't see a cart with Small World merchandise. I will check the next time I go to the park.

I am glad you all are enjoying the pictures. It's my way of sharing here on the DIS.

Yipee!!! My all time favorite ride is back open. :flower: Now I only have to wait until Jan 2006 to ride it, ugh.

WOW! Thanks for sharing. We were unable to go during our Nov trip due to the renovations and we really missed it. I like the improvement to the boarding area and the newer more vibrant, less 70's colors.

I just got back today and was really bummed that Small World opened the day after I left, your pictures helped thanks.
katjenlilly, are you a CM?

FYI I got into the soft opening for soarin. It was awesome! By far my new favorite ride in Epcot.
:jumping1:
katjenlilly, are you a CM?? Just wondering if they were past CM previews.

Is the soft opening for Soarin' hit and miss or permanent?

All soft openings are hit or miss. That's why they are soft and not hard.

It seems to me, at some point M:S was open permananently and BEFORE it's scheduled opening in October 03'--I rode it repeatedly in July 03', and from what I read on DIS boards it was pretty much open continuously from that point thru to October, thus making it an unofficial/soft yet permanent opening. I just wondered if anyone knew more on the subject.

They may very well do that gut you can't count on it, making it hit or miss.

Perhaps I should have posed the question on the rumor board. That's really what I was searching for.

Great pics! Thanks!

Not to get off the subject of Small World, but I was looking at your Cinderellabration pics also. Do you stand to watch this or is there seating? About how long does it last and do you have to get there early to get a good spot? Was it wonderful? Thanks!

Thank you so much for sharing these photos! I'm sitting here humming away "It's a Small World" and dreaming of being there in person. I think it is my most favorite ride, and I can't wait to see it all refurbished!

Most of the pictures were of the que areas. I saw only a limited amount of inside pictures. Were interior pictures not allowed?

Wow, it sure does look beautiful! Thanks for the pictures :teeth:
I actually am looking forward to riding this now this summer ;)

It is very hard to take pictures inside in the dark while the boat is moving and the dolls are moving. I took lots of pictures but didn't post the blurry ones.
