Pics of It's a Small World- It's open and I got to ride

I love love love your pics. They always give me a small disney fix.

Small World looks great! I can't wait to see it for myself.... only a few more months. ;)

Wow, it looks so bright :cool2: . I can't wait to see it for myself this summer. Of course, now I'm singing "It's a small world..." in my head :rotfl2:

Thanks for sharing! :jumping1: :jumping1:

Great pictures, thank you for sharing them. We went twice last year and it was closed, so we can't wait to go and see it. :)

Safetymom,
You always have the best photos! Thanks for keeping us up to date!!!

So good to see that it's open! We were a bit disappointed when we arrived a couple of months ago and it was closed... but it sure looks like it was worth the wait. Thanks for letting us know! :love1:

Thanks for more great pics, Safetymom!! :) We will be there in about 2 weeks and I can't wait to see it! I know my MIL will love this ride (her 1st trip to WDW) and I'm so glad it's up and running in time for our trip! :cool1:

Thanks for sharing. I cant wait. This is my favorite ride as a child.
Does anyone know how long ago it has been since IASW was redone? I was probably at WDW 28 years ago.

i was looking at your other disney pics and realized that i worked with your daughter katie a lot when i was a CP at Epcot as a rescue rangers a few years ago. small world indeed!

I was there for the opening too and got to ride- I agree.. the water was so clean you could see pennies on the ground and everything seemed much brighter and clearer.

Looks like the dated pics of the kids are gone based on your images (they used to be as you were exiting the right).

It looks beautiful...but I must say it didn't look like that before...not just the paint--but the scenery at the entrance area....it looks done up more like DL IASW except in white instead of blue.

Okay--we need some before and after pics--any volunteers?

I am really happy that the WDW IASM now resembles the one at the MK in DL. I always wanted to go to DL when I was a kid because of the IASM there. We got to go last year and it was great. So I am excited that MK in WDW has a smiliair look about it now.

Great pics! Thanks!

Not to get off the subject of Small World, but I was looking at your Cinderellabration pics also. Do you stand to watch this or is there seating? About how long does it last and do you have to get there early to get a good spot? Was it wonderful? Thanks!

You do have to stand to watch Cinderellabration. I think it lasts about 20 minutes, but I wasn't really watching the clock. We went to the first show of the day on an EMH morning, so most people were heading for the rides at that time. We didn't get there early and got a good spot though we did have to put the kids up on our shoulders so they could see. (That's why my shoulders have been hurting all week!)

As far as IASMW, it felt like a whole new ride to me--all the magic of the old ride, but it just looked beautiful and they had added so much.

It's looks great. A lot better than the 3 times in one hour I got to ride it last time I was there in 03.

Just curious, but does anyone have any before and after pics of the same view in IASW? Just wanna see the difference. Thanks in advance.
