Pics of Expecting TEEN DD and me!

I will NOT be one of the self ritious responders on this thread.... I have never seen so many perfect people on one thread.... It must be nice to be that perfect:confused:
My mom was 17 when she had me and if she would have listened to most I would not be here.
Congratulations Kirk sending loads of PD for an easy delivery.

Thanks for sharing these photos with us!

I'm glad you are so supportive or your daughter Kirk, she will need you now more than any other time in her life!

Kirk, I love the pictures, your daughter is beautiful...and you look great, too.:sunny:

I wasn't going to post on this thread, but....

I was fortunate to meet Kirk & Chrissy....In WDW infact... And Chrissy is a great girl, and I'm sure she'll make a great mom!!!!

As far as Kirk.....He's been a great single dad throughout Chrissy's life and I'm sure he will be a great overprotective, adorning, sensitive, Disney grandpa!!
(Seeing him changing diapers at WDW, Now that's a horse of different color!!! I want pic's!!)

p.s. I'm so glad you pick your battles & didn't choose this one!!! Email me when the big day occurs...Mollie and I wish you & Chrissy the best!!!
debbi :D

Sincerest best wishes from another Grandparent of a teen who saw the same, single option. From you descriptions, she will be a wonderful, caring Mother. Those maternal bonds are beautiful at any age!

Tiggaro....... great comments!

Please let us know how she is doing on a regular basis. We care!

I just wanted to add my thoughts. I was 17 when I got pregnant and had my now incredible 11 yr old DS. I was always a "good" kid. I was quiet, did well in school, and never got in any real trouble. So this came as quite a shock to both my parents and family members. My younger sister was always in trouble, so they were kind of expecting her to do something along the lines. Anyhow, some people treated me terribly, I was still the same polite young teen I had always been. In a moment I made some bad judgement calls, but it didn't change who I was.

I went on to finish high school, and I got my college degree. I own my own business now, along with a wonderful house, and at least 2 trips to Disney a year :earsboy: . I married a different man, who treats my son great. As well, as my son still maintaining a relationship with his own father. My son doesn't lack for anything. It is all because of the support I received from my parents. Without them I'm sure I wouldn't of been able to make as much of myself as I did. My mom worked fulltime all week. Then watched my son at night so I could go to college. Then watched him on the weekends so I could waitress part-time to support him. It was rough, and it was hard on all of us. But in the end we made it through. It's not what my parents would of necessairly planned out for me, but the bottom line was it happened. They stepped up to the plate, and I could never thank them enough.

I think it is great that you are proud of your daughter. By being supportive, you are giving her and your new grandbaby more chances. They'll be many tough times ahead, but they'll be so much easier on her with the support of her dad. CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

She is beautiful and is going to have a beautiful baby!!!

I wish I looked like that at 8 mos pregnant!

Not to reiterate what most of the other posters have said, but best wishes to you and your daughter. She is lucky to have a family that will support her during this pregnancy!

On the lighter side? I am MORE than willing to travel to WDW with you next time and be the official baby nurse! Pay my room and ticket and I'll be happy to watch over the little peanut! :teeth:

I would really like to thank you all for your warm, supportive responses! For some reason I'm not getting notifications for posts or my PMs:confused:

Here's another picture from Saturday's Maternity Tour at St. Luke's:
