DH and I are excited to try Boma. We are adventurous eaters and like to try new things. My mom and brother are on the conservative side and tend to stick with standard American fare. Is there enough variety at Boma to satisfy them? My mom loves desserts, so I've sort of convinced her by telling her about zebra domes. We are on the free DDP so I want to take advantage of some restaurants that we've never been to.

There is plenty to satisfy them. Carved meats, usually some sort of pasta dish, soups, potatoes, etc. It is a good place for everyone. YUM! (And, the desserts are killer!)

I'm a picky eater who likes most foods plain. Despite this, I absolutely love Boma! It's my favorite restaurant at DisneyWorld. I always find something to enjoy as my meal and then I eat way too many desserts. We also find the servers to be very attentive. I recommend Boma to everyone.

At Boma, some of the names may sound unfamiliar, but the cuisine looks like food you'd find anywhere.

And for first-timers, I'll give my two usual tips - don't assume you have to get in that long line at the beginning of the buffet. If you're going for soups or salads, just go straight to the pod where those things are. And, start off with small helpings of multiple things so you can decide which ones you like and go back for more.

If you *do* need to go to the carving station, a long line now will probably become a short line in five minutes. So keep an eye on it, and maybe go a couple minutes earlier than planned if you see it get short.

My advice for any non adventurous eater at Boma's is to not pay attention the names of any dish. Look at the food and then at the ingredients. Don't look at the name at all.

My brother-in-law is a person who will not eat any meat he has to cut with a knife and fork. He'll eat burgers and pork sandwiches but don't give him a steak or a ham slice. He hates chicken in all forms. As long as he has hot sauce for mild things, he fine with just about everything else and the spicier the better.

We were very hesitant to take him to Boma with a large family group. My son said that his uncle would be fine with salad and bread and all would be well.

Um, we were one of the last tables at the restaurant on that day because my brother-in-law couldn't get enough of things. And I believe there was a knife in a hand at some point.
