anyone have any suggestions of good compromise places to eat when a picky eater like myself is going with an adventurous eater? Last year at Disneyland in CA I ate almost entirely off children's menus and I'm a 25 year-old woman! I guess that's another area, will most TS places let me order from the children's menu if I pay more or something? Thanks!

There are so many restaurants on WDW property, it's hard to say. Have you studied the menus at Allearsnet? They're very handy for planning! Go to www.allearsnet.com and click on 'dining' at the top and you'll see the selections.

I've only been to WDW *once* but we ate at quite a few places! lol Most of us (DH, me and our 3 children) are vegetarians but my eldest son eats meat. My younger son is a remarkably plain eater so it was hard to find something for everyone! For CS we found the greatest choices at Columbia Harbour House at Magic Kingdom - they have a great variety from veggie sandwich to tuna sandwich to the regular chicken strips or fish strips etc. For Table Service, Spoodles have a great choice and Crystal Palance had the best selection of the buffets we did. Hollywood & Vine and Chef Mickeys were very limited I thought (but CM was FABULOUS anyway!!!). Also (although many disagree) I found the selections at Rainforest Cafe very good.

Have fun planning! :)

I am also an extremely picky eater. I studied the All Ears menus a ton before deciding where we would eat. I found most places I could find at least something I would eat. Every place we ate was wonderful about letting me make substitutions or leaving off things I wouldn't eat.

Disney restaurants are very flexible.

If you like plain food - just ask for it.

Steak/chicken can usually be served with no sauces or toppings and as long as there are french fries on the menu (even the children's menu) the restaurants will substitute your side for them.

:thumbsup2 thanks for all your suggestions guys! My real problem though is finding places that will suit both our needs ya know? Like, I studied the menus and wrote down all the places in *the world* that I would eat...were there any places that people have been able to get plain food, while others in their party ate more funky selections? So far the only place I can really think of is alfredo's in Epcot...I do like very plain fettucine! lol I know, eventually I'll have to grow up a little....I'm just scared of eating mac and cheese the whole trip from the kid's menu!
