I was just reading on the DCL website that if you are not a US citizen you have to pick up your passport etc? At 5:30AM... Is that right??? Does everyone have to get up that early???? I don't think my son has ever seen 5:30AM. Can 1 person retrive for the entire family?

Also can anyone tell me what time you have to be off the boat and do you get breakfast that last morning???

Thanks

IDK for sure about non US citizens but our assistant server was late to breakfast the last day because he had to check in with immigration since it was his first week back on the ship. You will be able to have a sit down breakfast with your servers in the same dining room you ate in the night before. Early seating is at 6:45 and late might be at 8 I think. You can also go to Topsiders for a cold buffet breakfast. Everyone is suppose to be off the ship by 9 am. That goes really quickly which has surprised us each time.

It is true - if you are not a US citizen you do have to get up that early - and to be honest if you can get in at the beginning you would be better off - the line is huge - when I was there - the rest of my family are US citizens so it was just me - I was within the 1st 100 people and managed to get a seat and wait until immigration turned up - at first there were only 3 of them - this quickly increased to 6. As I was leaving the line was out the door and around the corner

I saw a couple of people sent back to their rooms to get the rest of their family - one guy was protesting that his 2yo was still asleep but that didn't work at all - every non US member of the family has to be present - even if they are still in their PJ's

I know this isn't what you want to hear but I hope this helps.

Yes, it is true that every member of the family that is a non US citizen MUST be there when you go to immigration. No exceptions are allowed.

It generally starts at 6 am. Sometimes there can be huge lines, sometimes not. It just depends on how many non US citizens are on board.

Canadian citizens move very quickly through the check point. They usually don't ask a lot of questions, mainly when are you leaving the country that kind of thing and then they send you off.

I'm from the UK and because our passports state that we have an existing entry visa from Orlando airport it was a mere formality and a few stamps on the passports.

I agree however, it is a very slow process and things do not improve until the extra officers arrive. Also, there are some VERY tired children there in the lines.
