Picking up Magicbands early?

Hi all!

We have a trip coming up with a one night stay at Fort Wilderness in the middle of a larger reservation. I would like our MagicBands for our whole trip, but as it is since they don't ship to Canada, they expect us to pick them up at the resort when we check in. This would leave us without Magicbands for our first day there. Is there any way to arrange it so that our Magicbands are available a day or two BEFORE we check in to our site?

Not sure where you are in Canada, but if you're close to the boarder you can get them shipped to a parcel service and bring them in yourself. That's what we did so we'd have them before we left. Otherwise I'd say call your hotel direct and ask if they can have them for you the day before you check in. Doesn't hurt to ask!

We're close to the border, but our trip is coming up VERY soon and I worry they wouldn't make it here in time. Good idea on calling them directly, I'll do it that way and see if they can accommodate us.

Why would you be without MBs on your first day. You checkin at your hotel, they give you your bands, if your room isn't ready you just go off to the parks and return when your room is ready. You'll have your bands all day.

Because we are in Orlando and at Disney for two days before our room reservation begins; our on-site stay isn't until partway through our trip as a whole. However, I did call up Disney and they put a note on our file to ship our bands to the resort 2 days early so we could pick them up for our first day at the parks. They said they're normally shipped there 2-3 days early anyway, so it wasn't a problem.
