Pick up Magic Bands before check in?

We are Canadian so have to pick up Magic Bands at resort. We have one person in our party who can't find their Magic Band from last year.

We are staying offsite for a few days and on check in day we have EMH at AK, and want to do rope drop. It's early enough to get there to try to get FOP, and would prefer not to have to go to resort before.

Is it possible to go to our resort and pick up Magic Bands a few days before check in?

From what I understand, the MBs shipped to the resort are timed to arrive within 10 days of one's arrival, so it should be possible to pick them up ahead of your check in. I would try calling the resort and asking if they are there yet, on the day you want to get them. Good luck!

You don't really need a MB, but (at the very least) you need a ticket.
You can pick up tickets (actual plastic tickets) at any Guest Relations up to 10 days before check-in.

So, if you can't get the MBs early (or don't want to make an early trip to the resort) you can still enter the AM EMH.

(You'll want to do on-line check-in set to the early morning "arrival time" of the EMH.)
