I am headed to WDW in 8 days for a girl's get-away with a dear friend I haven't seen in nine years. We are staying at the Boardwalk, and spending the day in question at the MK.

We have 8 PM ADRs at Cali Grill that evening. To be frank, I am not excited about this one. The reviews seem poor lately, I could care less about the fireworks and neither one of us will order sushi. However, I am interested in both Citrico's and Il Mulino (spelling?), which I've never been to before. I have been to the Flying Fish and enjoyed it, and am thinking that might be a better choice than CG as well.

Other ADRs we have are Kouzzina, Brown Derby and Coral Reef. Planning on also trying either Raglan Road or Fulton's for lunch if we can get a table w/o ADRs.

Opinions?

Nicole

I still find the Calif. Grill to be one of the best places to eat at WDW but if you want something close to where you are staying I would go to BlueZoo.

I've been to all 4 on your list and I like Il Mulino the best out of them, followed by Flying Fish, then Citricos. CG would be last. I also like bluezoo better than these but Il Mulino is pretty close.

The Blue Zoo would be perfect for your group---and if you get there reasonably early, you could eat in the bar/lounge area probably w/o any ADR's.

I am excited to eat at Il Mulino, as from what I have read its a great place. Also, you can get a $25 certificate from restaurant.com right now for $3.00.. you can only use 1 per table, but $25 is $25.. Plus that is such a cool area.. You could even go from place to place and have a drink if you want too..

We love Il Mulino the best. The food is fantastic. And yes, we ordered four restaurant.com gift certificates for only $3 each, so we could go multiple times. We love the seafood pasta. It is amazing!!!!

I would choose Citrico's or Flying Fish over California Grill (havent been to Il Mulino). I haven't been to California Grill in a few years, but had fantastic experiences and meals at both Citrico's and Flying Fish a few months ago.

I second Blue Zoo! I know it is not on your list but I would think about giving it some consideration

We enjoy Citricos and Flying Fish. Lately we would choose either over CG. We also like Blue Zoo but must be in the minority on Il Mulino, we enjoyed it but not as much as the others.

Last month we had the best meal at Citricos...it was simply amazing from the food and the service to the presentation (we went here better but last month it was the best meal we had a Disney). The second restuarant is Flying Fish. We were suppose to go to California Grill but the past 2 months I have been reading and been reading a few so so review or not so good so I cancelled it last minute and changed it to Citricos (I really wanted to try California Grill and loved Citricos in the past and I'm so glad we cancelled California Grill and wen to Citricos b/c it was one of our highlight of our trip).

I was my understanding that you could only use 1 gift certficate per table and only 1 per month per party..??

Thank you everyone for your opinions.

It sounds like any one on my list would be a great choice! You aren't making this easy for me...

bluezoo also occurred to me, but my friend is from Boston where Todd English has a restaurant (or more than one?), so that probably isn't something she couldn't do at home. Personally I am leaning towards Il Mulino, simply because it would be nice to come home from the MK and change before dinner. But who knows, I will probably change my mind in two hours...

Thanks again! Nicole

Just remember to take transport time into concideration. Iwould leave about 45min to get to bw area from MK. So FF makes for more relaxing after dinner situation. CG if you want to go directly from MK.

DH and I really enjoyed CG. It has been our second favorite dining experience after Jiko.
