Pick a Pearl Setting - Help Me Pick!!

Hi everyone! I want to take a pick-a-pearl setting down with me next trip for when I get another pearl from Japan. But, I can't decide between these two settings! Which one would you get??

I have seen folks wear the carriage around the parks before, but I've never seen anyone with the Minnie! Agh I can't decide!

I bought these carriages in the past for my kids when we went a few years back to Disneyworld but FYI the carriages are small. My wife and 2 daughters all picked pearls and out of the 3 pearls only one fit in the carriage. I am not sure if we were just lucky and got bigger pearls or the carriages are just too small for most of the pearls you will pick from Japan. Have never seen the Minnie ones before so those might be bigger. Good luck.

Oh, thank you for that information! I have been eyeing that carriage setting for my daughter, and it would be SUCH A disappointment to discover that the pearl wouldn't fit!

I just bought the Minnie ones for my daughters because they can hold up to a 10mm pearl and they are adorable

I really like them both, but the carriage seems to be more popular. i would go with the minnie one. I like the it has some color on it.

There are different sized carriages, so make sure you're getting the one to fit a larger pearl.

We just came back and did 4 pick-a-pearls (1 for me, 1 for grandma, 2 for my twin girls), and they all were above the average 6mm size. We got 7mm, 7.25mm, 7.5mm, and 8mm pearls.

I like both the Minnie and carriage and will most likely be getting both for each of my twins.

I'll also add that I read on this forum somewhere that it's a good idea to coat these cages in clear nail polish to help protect the finish.

Bring the necklace with you... if the pearl you pick does not fit... they will exchange it for one that does.

I picked out two pearls and I wanted to make ear rings to make them matching... they did swapped out mine for me
